I'm sick...

Oh yes, I have this terrible flu. My whole body hurts, I have a fever. I don't even know why on earth I had to come to work. I think I'll go home at lunch time. Hubby is starting to be sick too. The twins were sick on the weekend. This is such a way to end the year...

As soon as I get better, I'll tell you how our Christmas went (and probably the New Year's evening). I really don't fell good.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that 2009 starts the best way for you.

Update... and Merry Christmas!

This past weekend went really well. Besides the general cleaning I also cleaned the refrigerator and the dishwasher and dryer, as well as the glazed tiles. Hey, I even shined the sink!

Anyway, last friday I finished reading a book. It's called "The Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. It's the second time I read it, and I really love it. What a beautiful love story, it makes you want to cry because it feels so real. I really, really love it, and now I want to buy that book.

I don't know when will I be able to blog again, so I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas

I hope everyone has a wonderful day full of Love.

...

Well, last night I did everything except ironing. I was really tired and sleepy. But a funny thing happened though. While I was cleaning the kitchen I saw the kids taking toys to the new "play room". So when I finished everything there, and I went to the living room, I just stared. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing! It was starting to happen! The toys chest that used to be living in the living room was no longer there, as well as lots of toys that were scattered all over the floor!! YUPIIIIII!!!!! There are still toys and books on the coffee table and on the sofas, but never mind those, the floor is free of toys!!!! Oh yes, you can call me crazy, but ever since the twins were born (4 years ago) that the living room was never clear of toys, and as the twins grew up, the toys multiplied every year... The kids are really happy and excited about the "new" play room so they asked daddy if he could help them take the toys there so they could play a little last night. And before they went to bed, they PUT AWAY ALL THE TOYS!!!!!
Oooh, I don't know about you but Yes, I'm Happy!!

Monday already!

This weekend went by so fast! But we actually did everything that was planned. Well, almost... I didn't iron everything and the toys are not yet in the playroom. BUT the kids are really excited because they're gonna have a whole room to play, so that's good.
Tonight we're going straight home, so I can do something more at home.

For today:

- Daily routine for the twins (bath, pj's and play)
- Unload dishwasher
- Dinner
- Clean kitchen
- Prepare toys and bags for tomorrow
- Laundry
- Iron

Well, at least I will try... Last night me and hubby went to bed sooo late that this morning we had a hard time to get up.

So much to do, so little time

I have so much to do this weekend that I don't know if I'll be able to do everything.

Saturday:
- Eye doctor appointment for me and one twin (morning)
- Take boxes of stuff that we removed from the closet to my in-laws house (after lunch)
- Dinner at BIL

Whenever I can get to these:
- Dust, vaccum and mop the whole house (and let's not forget to wash the bathrooms)
- Wash laundry and iron
- Finish to set up the Christmas decorations
- Turn the home office into a play room

I would really like to do everything and prepare the house for Christmas.

Dreams

Of course it was just a dream, but a good one though!lol

The reality it's quite different: the house is a big mess again, and it really needs a good clean. I don't know how I will do it, I really want it to be clean and organized and homey and all. Oh! I wish I could stay at home, not working outside the house...Ummmm.... Hey, I can dream a little, can't I?

Where was I... Oh yes, the house. It wouldn't have to be a big house, but it must have a garden, plenty of space for the kids to play. I would take the kids to school in the morning and pick them up when the school was over.My mornings would be to take care of the house, but I would still have the time to do my crafts. And I would do lots of crafts because I really love it. When the kids were home, we would play together and I would help them do their homeworks. When hubby got home dinner would be ready. We would eat and talk about our day. Then dad would have some play time with the kids while I would finish up things for the day. When the kids went to bed, there would be mommy and daddy time and the day would end.

WOW! This is a good dream isn't it? Oh, I wish it could come true... What about your dreams? I would really like to know.

Thank you!

I'm sorry for not saying anything for two days, but it's hard to write something here on the weekends. First of all, I would like to thank you for your prayers. My grandfather is still not feeling well. He is 85 years old and has some heart problems. But I'm still praying, and I will continue to pray for him.

Meanwhile, me and hubby are rearranging the home office. It's actually a room that it's waaaay too cluttered and has a closet full of stuff. We want to remove the closet from there as well as all the clutter, and prepare the room to be a play room for the twins. We want to take all the toys that are right now in our living room and put them in there. The "office" part will still be there too, but the majority of the room will be for the kids. This room has to be ready until Christmas.

...

Today I'm sad. Really really sad. I had a bad news last night when we were picking up the kids at my parents. My grandfather is in the hospital for a week and is getting worse everyday. I cried all the way back home, and all night. I could barely eat last night.
I know that God is watching him, and He is doing the best for my grandfather. It's all in His hands.

Chosen days

Thursday and Friday: this week's chosen days to have dinner at home and try to do something there. It was supposed to be Wednesday and Friday, but when we got to my parents to pick up the twins yesterday, I HAD to see what they had for dinner: burguers! MOM's burguers!! I can't turn my back on my MOM's burguers!! So we ended up having dinner there...
But today we will go pick up the twins, I WILL NOT LOOK FOR DINNER, we will leave the house and head straight home to eat there, and I will do some cleaning today.

After a 3-day weekend...

... you should expect that I had done everything at home, the house would be sparkling and oh-so organized! Well, that really didn't happen. Now don't get me wrong. I did something. The Christmas tree is up, and there are a few Christmas decorations around the house. Laundry is done too (still have a few things to iron, but it's mostly done). Oh, and I also cut my hair, now it's really short (the change, remember?). And another thing. I tried to stop smoking. I said TRIED. After 2 days without a single cigarette, I had to fall again on that stupid vice. And now I feel bad. BUT, hope is the last thing to die, so I truly believe that I will be able to stop doing it. I will stop smoking.
